I had to turn of my water supply to my washer and refrigerator water line due to getting a new refrigerator. Both lines are connected to a dual inlet.when I turned on the water the valve switch on the washer water line started dripping but not the valve switch to the refrigerator line.I don't understand why or how one can drip and the other doesn't since the are connected with a dual inlet. How can I get the one to stop dripping. Please also note the water supply was turn on for days before I switch the washer valve switch open.

If the water is leaking at either end of the washing machine water supply hose you can try tightening the connection slightly with some pliers. If it still leaks then turn off the water and disconnect the hose that is leaking, look for a rubber washer inside the hose end. It should be soft and pliable, if hardened or missing install another one.

"You said" I had to turn of my water supply to my washer and refrigerator water line due to getting a new refrigerator. I don't understand why or how one can drip and the other doesn't since the are connected with a dual inlet. How can I get the one to stop dripping. Please define these: dual inlet and valve switch. Usually I think of electrical when I see the word "switch". Can you find a photo of what you are talking about and post it? We need clarity to help you.
