 Clogged sink, tub, toilet
Author: kmgross (WY)

Hello all,

I'm having some serious plumbing issues.

my sink, tub, and toilet are clogged in 2 bathrooms. When I flush the toilet, water pours out of the (backflow/back water valve??) under the house in the crawl space.

However, the water from the wash machine and kitchen don't have any issues and don't over flow the valve.

I first thought it may be the main sewage line or the valve is clogged, but why would it only be in the bathrooms??

I've ran an auger below the toilet and bathtub in the one closest to the main sewage line and still no luck. Even through the vent on the roof.

Thanks in advance for all of your help.

Maybe it's a cleanout in the crawlspace that the water is coming from. The blockage is definitely downstream from there so that is where you need to start with a sewer tape or drain cleaning machine.

If you have a backwater valve in your drainage system it may be that the obstruction is there. Sometimes it is as simple as removing the gate which has allowed sewage to back up at that restriction area.
