So, bumped this at my neighbor's house when I was taking the trash out andit bent up and started spraying. Neighbor wants me to pay 300.00. Not asking for price. Was just wondering what this piece is called. It's the t shaped pipe itself. First time posting so hope I am doing this right.

All you need to do is cut that copper back behind that leak, and sweat a female adapter on it, and screw in a new hose bibb. If you're going to have to pay for it, you need to check around a little bit first.

I CANNOT tell what is leaking, but if it is that piece of 3/4" copper, it was NEVER connected properly, and that would be why it is leaking.

It's old. House was built in 78. Looks like it's been worked on before. I bumped it with the can and it bent and ripped the pipe. But geez, I can whack mine and it doesn't do a thing. Is there a quick fix that won't cost me 300?

A no-solder approach would be to cut the pipe and install a compression bibb.

It might have been bent before, it kinda sticks out there in the way. Plus it is copper, once it is bent and creased it's a leak waiting to happen.
Maybe this is a job for Flex Seal?

Cutting off the insulation. Maybe it's a Ginsu knife and he's also going to saw through the pipe.
