 Low water pressure
Author: jbarrett35 (IN)

Hello, I have an issue with my water pressure in my house. It is only 2 years old with pex plumbing throughout. The water pressure in the shower is fine but if the dish washer is on then I may as well turn off the shower. If my kids take a bath and the clothes washer is on, I get an error message on y washer for "No water". For the size of my house and the water needs of my family I believe the issue may be with the water pressure tank as it is very small. I do not know the specifics of it but I will post more on it later tonight. Thank you

Do you have a water filter ? I'd check it first. The size of the tank doesn't determine your water pressure, the pressure switch does that , although it sounds as if you have a volume issue rather than a pressure problem.

I have an Amtrol water pressure tank with 150psi max working pressure and 125 psi max relief pressure. Beside it is a whole home water filtration system that leads to the water softner which leads to the water heater. Does that help?

quote.."Beside it is a whole home water filtration system"..
that tells me there is some part of that filtration system that is clogged (as it is supposed to) and needs to be changed..

I do have some hard water. I built this house back in October 2014. Would it clog that fast?

depends on the size/capacity of the filter and the amount of water used..
so to answer your question... MAYBE YES..
