 High water pressure
Author: BuffaloD23 (CA)

Three weeks ago both upstairs "showers" had an increase in water pressure ( almost double ). This happened suddenly and not gradually. I don't notice an increase in water pressure at any of my faucets. The local water company came by the house and the "guy" took a pressure reading at my hose bib just after the pressure regulator. He said the pressure was normal ( 75 ). Does anybody have an idea what's causing the increase in water pressure at the 2 showers.

The pressure might not have been 75psi before the change. The regulator might be bad. You can try to adjust it down and see if it responds.
