Fixed glacier bay shower body but can't get it to shut off
Author: GhostDBJ9 (NY) Found the problem on the shower body. The piece coming out of bottom of shower body blew out, fixed that. Now I replace the stem cartridge and the shower body won't turn off. Need help asap, if you know what I'm talking about Edited 1 times.

Author: packy (MA) my advice.. go back to home depot and get another valve. carefully take it apart and study it as you go along. put all the innards from the new valve into the old valve. if it works then return the extra valve as defective.. it if doesn't work, bring them both back and get another brand.
