 Leaky/Dripping faucet for bathtub
Author: MisterWizard (AL)

Photos: [imgur.com]

The faucet in my old shower drips.
I suspect that a bonnet nut has been broken and that the hex part is missing and I can't remove it, but I'm not particularly experienced.

Photos are what it looks like with the dial/knob removed and the backplate removed.

I -think- what I'm supposed to do is remove a nut that I can't get off, and then pull the cartridge and replace it.

HELP!?

You're ready to pull the cartridge out, the clip was all that you had to remove. You may have to buy a puller especially for Moen cartridges, they can be stubborn to remove.

I hope those are not wrench marks on the body, because if they are, you may have distorted the body so the cartridge cannot come out, or worse, the new one cannot go in.
