The toilet does drain but never enough to take toilet paper with it. I have so far tried the following...worked snake though first a few feet and got a huge clump of hair. But still slow drain. I tried again this time pushing snake all the way down about 16 feet with ease. Came back clean. I also tried dawn and draino which did improve some but not enough for tp to go down. I then checked the air vent and that is also clean. Oh side note, i poured water down shower and it goes down no problem. I should also add this is the second toilet that drains slow in this bathroom. Any suggestions? Please help...I'd rather not have to pay a costly plumber. Thanks much.

Does the poor flush occur every time? Take a bucket with a couple gallons of water in it. Pour it quickly into the toilet bowl and see if it drains out like a good flush should or does it slowly drain.

Wheelchair, Age Perhaps 20 years old. The original toilet was same age but we replaced it with a different toilet about six years old. This toilet was in a different location and replaced with double flush toilet. Nothing wrong with it. Used to flush no problem but now in new location is slow. Not sure model will see if I can find out. It's a Kohler 1.6 gpf Thanks
