Identify and Fix Faucet Handle Leak
Author: MeJayBe (CA)

Hi everybody,

I rent a home and am tired of waiting for my landlord to fix this ongoing issue I have with my bathroom faucet handle. The hot water handle on the left (see link to pic below) keeps leaking in the area circled.

I need help identifying the make/model of the faucet and as much guidance as possible regarding how to fix it. I'm hoping it's an easy washer replacement or something of that nature but as there don't appear to be any fittings to loosen the handle I'm a bit stuck.

Thanks in advance for ANY advice!

I think you hold the lever handle steady, and unscrew the handle base, just under the lever. It's probably going to need an o ring on the cartridge .

This is Hansgrohe Solaris E widespread. You will need to replace the ceramic disc cartridge. I could not find the parts sheet on Hansgrohe's website so I'll try attaching one from another site. The hot cartridge # is 94009000. Hansgrohe works well with consumers but not with plumbers or wholesalers. Call them if you need help.
