 Weird toilet sewer drain pipe
Author: piggiekeeper (GA)

I have taken on a complete bathroom reno myself and am learning as I go. Finally removed the toilet to replace drywall behind and eventually tile and what I found is not what ibexpected. It looks like a smashed, corroded metal pipe sticking up a couple onches. There's a partial metal flange but half is broken off. House was built in 71 in metro atlanta. I am on a septic. This is lower level slab and not 100% sure this bathroom setup was original to the house... reminds me of metal piece one might find 8n a 100 yr old shipwreck. I'm not sure how to post a link 7 less maybe I post it to m6 Facebook and use that link?
