Hello,
I have had issues with my faucets leaking in my tub. As I work through that, I want to install a shut off valve as a short term solution if the issue resurfaces.
I have a 2 handle Moen system now with 1/2 in pipes. The PVC runs directly into the Moen adapters...not experienced and don't know how to install a shutoff valve.
I don't know how to send pics, but can email for a clearer understanding (Finder1991@gmail.com).
Thanks in advance.

It should NOT be "PVC", so you would have to know EXACTLY what is is before you do anything. WHatever you have, you do not have the necessary experience to work with it to install those valves. Call a plumber.

You probably have CPVC pipes, they will need to be cut and a valve glued into position.

HE COULD have PVC. He COULD have CPVC. OR, he COULD have clear PEX. Until he knows he should NOT Do anything.

sharkbite valves are available for CPVC or pex whichever you have. you figure out which you have, shut off the water, cut out a small section of each pipe and slide the sharkbite valves into place.
