I have to change out a faucet and handles on our Jacuzzi tub. No leak, just updating. No idea what brand of faucet is there now because I can't find a name on the thing. Is there a way to tell by looking at the connections underneath? I want to do this right but, if I can reuse the current valves, that would be great. This faucet was installed about 27 years ago.

There are almost NO FAUCETS that have the manufacturer's name on them. We would need a photo and then we MIGHT be able to answer your question. However, even if you knew the name, they may have changed the design so the old valve may not work.

Yes, trying to mate new trim to 27 year old valves will likely be a problem. I'd replace the entire assembly.

Post pictures here of above and below views. We might be able to detect who made it and then you can see if new model trim from that manufacturer will fit.
