Old Style Delta Roman Tub Faucet Replacement
Author: JillE (OR)

I have a 1992 Delta Roman tub faucet and spout in brilliant brass with the faux crystal (clear plastic round) handles. I made some updates to the bathroom and bought a stainless steel Delta Dryden set (model T2751) to replace the tub fixture; however, the faucets don't fit on the existing valves. I called Delta customer service, and they said the only option is to replace the rough-in. Unfortunately, that would involve an extensive tile tear-out and replacement which I'm not willing to do. I had already thrown out the old spout, so now I'm stuck. I know that Delta makes a renovation kit for at least one of the wall shower models, but it doesn't work for the Roman tub style. Does anyone know of a work-around for this situation or an online store that sells the old-style fixtures?
Thank you,
Jill
