My next door neighbor and I have a water hammer problem. He has it when he uses water. I have it at random times thru the day and night. We find if he shuts off the water supply to his irrigation system neither of has a problem. So if it is his irrigation system causing the problem why is it affecting my house?

Thank you for your reply. Street pressure is 110 PSI. My house pressure is 55. We both have pressure reducing valves. I will have to check with him on the sprinkler system installation.

The irrigation system is tied in before the pressure regulator.
