Hello, water is getting into the wall attachment of a bar/column that holds a hand-held shower head. I can't figure out how to remove the pieces holding the bar to the wall, so that I can then inspect and fix the issue. I don't know which brand or model the hardware is, or I would look up the installation manual. I suspect it is a Kohler. I am also unable to find a DIY video that shows a fixture like mine, which has no screws showing and no notches to indicate how to pry off the wall bracket. The only idea I have is that the bar must screw off either the top or bottom attachment, but I don't want to force it if that's not correct. I attach photos to help. Thanks!

Have you tried unscrewing the cylinder at the top of the bar?

I have tried turning the cylinder, to no avail. I didn't want to apply more torque unless I was pretty sure this was the way to go.

I think I would invert the bar once you get it apart, that'll keep the water out of the soap tray mount.
