 New Kitchen/Bathroom Drainage Issue
Author: browndanie (NY)

I've recently renovated my bathroom and kitchen; however, the tub, and both sinks (kitchen and bathroom) are draining extremely slow.

I did not change any of the plumbing in the bathroom, however; I relocated the sink in the kitchen which included relocating some of the ventilation for the kitchen sink.

I am not sure if this is a ventilation issue or a clog issue. I've provided a link to some pictures of the plumbing configuration:

Any help is appreciated.

Thanks,
DB

The new PVC vent piping should have no reason to cause poor drainage. Have the drain piping mechanically cleaned(no chemicals).

I'd say you jarred some debris loose from inside the pipe when you were removing the galvanized piping. It's probably stuck in the 90 just under the floor.

I didn't think so. Just wasn't sure if the routing of the pipes was throwing it off somehow. I'll try and snake it out.

Thanks,
