Adding a shower head to tub faucet?
Author: shallowdlights (CA)

How do I attach a shower head to a roman tub faucet that has no threading?

I got a pet shower hose so I could easily wash my puppy in our jacuzzi tub. I knew it would be the perfect thing to aid my husband and I in bath time for Bowie. I gave it to my husband for him to install. But he was unable to install it with any of the adaptors that came with it because our faucet isn't threaded.

I've searched the internet high and low with no solution to my problem.

For the time being, we connect it to our shower head. We have to connect the 2 hoses together so it is long enough to reach our dog. So I guess that's a solution. Just not what I wanted.

If anyone has a solution, Please let me know. Because ideally I would like to bathe her in the bathtub cause it's easier to clean and bathtub is much larger than the shower.

That would probably work but it looks kinda goofy. You could replace the spout with one that has an aerator, that would make it easy to screw the hose onto. You could replace the faucet with one that has a pull up diverter and handheld shower.
