I have a granite counter top. Not happy with the under mount kitchen sink. I wish to convert to a drop in top mount sink. I have found a blanco composite sink that will fit nicely. However, it is a under mount or drop in sink. The sink has metal slide in brackets on the sides and ends. That is not my problem. the problem is, the manufactured mountsw the brackets are attached to. Question is, can I grind off these mounts without destroying the integrity of the sink it's self. If I can the sink will fit flush and can be glued in nicely, I think.
