 Irregular water pressure
Author: Nkriegler (NE)

We live in a 8 year old tri-story house. The faucets all start high, then goes weak briefly (a few seconds), and then goes back to a normal pressure. When warm water is used in the second bathroom shower, we can hear a high-pitched noise while it's running. This has all started within the past 4 days. Any ideas? Is it the pressure valve? Build up? Can we fix it or do we need a plumber?

First you must tell us if you have municipal or private well water.

i'm guessing that if he asks "is it the pressure valve", he has city water.
it more than likely is the 'pressure valve'..
debris in the filter screen before the valve would not act like that. the pressure would start good and taper off to poor but it wouldn't rebound until you closed the faucet..
