Author: packy (MA) it is strange.. but, my plumbing code calls for fine sand 6 inches in all directions of the pipe. 10 feet outside the foundation wall the plumbing code ends and a sewer contractor takes over. their code calls for crushed stone or pea gravel around the pipe. same pipe, same trench but different requirements. enjoy the weekend.. your pipe will be fine...
