I need the best quality solid brass two handle shower rough in valve still available. I do not want anti scald. This is for my home and I am a licensed contractor and this project will not be inspected.i want something that will last forever as I'm tiling over it.

Wolverine Brass makes a heavy solid cast brass shower valve and they warrant the valve cartridges 100 years. Their "Finale" series is top of the line.

If you wanna replace an existing 2 handle bathtub faucet in a tiled bathtub... how easy is it to replace from the back side if you dont want to break up the existing tile of the bathroom wall. Ever done it?

Replaced many two handled shower valves from the from the front with a single handle valve. It aint easy and it aint fun but it's doable.

How about replacing a 2 handle with another 2 handle from the back side? Just wondering....

You can replace almost any valve from the backside without any real trouble at all. If there is trouble, it is because something else is sharing the wall cavity directly behind the valve.. it happens.
