this is a Kohler from approx 1991
i think its very similar to a Kohler K-15275(but this model # has ceramic cartridges)
it has washers...i replace the washers w/ 2 from my wolverine brass washer kit, but they didnt fit well..i think the screw went through the washers...neither side is working now, so its a call back...
i want to order the correct washers from Kohler and fix it for good

Just buy a rack of assorted flat and beveled faucet washers from Wolverine. One of them will fit and you'll have parts for the next few years of repairs.

agreed its a trend, but with a different spout
i did put wolverine brass washers in it....the factory screws were smaller than the holes...when i tightened it up i could see issues....and now it appears the washers are both free floating since neither side is working......also none of the wolverine brass washers was the correct size....it was in between sizes

can you just change the screws? i use stainless screws. they seem to hold up much better than soft brass.

Why not just change the faucet and avoid any future call backs? It's 24 years old.

If it uses washers, there are NO "oem" washers. You just need flat or beveled ones with the proper diameter.
