Hello,
I have a loose handle on my Moen kitchen faucet model number A112.18.1M. I removed the blue and red temp. indicator "button", but there is only a hole - no screw. As a long shot, I've tried a variety of screw bits to see if any would work with no luck. Anyone have any idea what I should do? The faucet is beginning to leak because of the loose handle, and I'd love to deal with this myself if I can. Thanks!

call moen for parts if the set screw is missing
or for advice as to how to tighten
usually requires a hex driver (allen wrench)

When you contact Moen, be sure to mention the leak AND the handle. Loose handles don't cause leaks. I would ask them to send an entire new handle as the old one may have damage; the set screw may have been loose and damaged the threads, or the slot where the stem attaches may have a crack.

or the loose handle prevents full closure

Usually the leak happens first, then the handle gets damaged when someone tries to 'turn it off harder to make it stop dripping'

'turn it off harder to make it stop dripping'
this is so common with cartridge type valves. turning it harder makes it worse. nothing compresses (like a washer), holes actually line up for open and don't line up for closed.
