 Moen Faucet No Hot Water
Author: Jon454 (KS)

Moen Walden 87045MSRS single control pullout faucet. Hot water is only a trickle. Hot water to dishwasher works. Cold water works. Replaced cartridge, hot water still doesn't work.

The most likely culprit is usually a piece of the rubber stop washer has broken off and is wedged somewhere. Shut off the hot water under the sink and remove the hot supply line and put the end into a bucket. Put your hand over the end of the aerator on the pull out and hold tightly. Turn the faucet on to the middle position so that you would normally get warm water. The cold water should enter the faucet, be unable to go forward and head back out to the hot supply and back flush the debris into the bucket. You should know fairly quickly if this works; if it doesn't, we can go from there.

Turn the water off, remove the cartridge and turn the hot water back on. That should clear any debris that's trapped in the faucet.
It could also be a kinked supply line but a visual inspection should quickly confirm if that's the case.
