Slop sink adapter, Stuck in Garden Hose

I was testing a garden hose for leaks at my washroom slop sink. When I went to unscrew the hose the adapter came off with it and is still screwed tightly into the hose end.

What tool or method is best for backing this out?????

I have tried....

1. Re-attaching and tighten as much as possible.
2. (#1 above) with the addition of several layers of thread tape, trying to make the attachment to the faucet
tighter than the attachment to the hose.

Obviously, this has not worked. I thought to try to use some kind of bonder (glue, etc) but as the faucet and adapter are metal and hose end is plastic I'n not sure what to use or if it is even advisable. And still yet how to keep adhesive on the correct parts with out having it squeeze out and create a permanent bond witht the hose.

ANY help will be appreciated, I would truly love to save the hose if possible.

Author: KCRoto (MO) Use 2 pairs of pliers. One pair to hold the adapter, one to unscrew the hose.
