 toilet seat for Briggs toilet
Author: plumbkat (TX)

Hi
I am trying to find a toilet seat to fit a 25 yr old Briggs toilet. Briggs never made their toilet seats, and I can't seem to find a new one to fit.

From center of hinge hole to center of other hinge hole measurement, it is 6-7/8".
The seat width is 13-5/8" and the length is 16-1/4".
Thanks in advance and any suggestions or help is greatly appreciated!

My 25 year old catalog only shows a regular round front and an elongated bowl seat for their toilets. And, since seat catalogs do not show the dimensions of the seat or the hinges there is no way to help you.

what color was it? **link not permitted** this link might help identify the color and possibly a model number of the seat. It looks like it is 7" center on that site. It looks like the manufacturer may have been Case. A site that has descriptions on it has This Old Toilet in the title, but I can't put the link up here. You may need the measurement from the back of the tank lid to the front of the bowl as well.

You may or may not need to verify the dimensions, you may recognize your model here on our sponsor's site. I think this is what you are trying to find. [www.plumbingsupply.com]
