Do they make a tool to install springs and seal in delta shower valves

I've always used a phillips screwdriver; slip the seal and spring on the shaft, and use that to guide them in. Sometimes need a little flatblade driver to "tuck in the skirt" of the seal. I always apply a light skim of plumber's grease on the seal to help seat it. Once it is aligned, push the seal all the way down with a fingertip, and sloowly remove the finger.
One of our esteemed colleagues (HJ of arizona) has opined the use of a tire pressure gauge for the task, which sounds like a really good idea, but all my service calls lately are for Moens and Phisters

I have used the center of an ink pen, the allen wrench that I removed the handle with, or a screwdriver. I never thought of a tire gauge, but I bet that works nicely.

Yes, it is called a "tire pressure gauge". You pull the slide out, put the seat and spring on it. Stick it into the opening, then slide the gauge down to push them in.

Are there any images for how the seats/springs should be when finished?
My girlfriend's shower had an odd Delta two handle faucet with two springs and one rubber seat. I guess I got them in OK, but no one at the big box store could tell me how the order was with the two small springs with the rubber piece.
I'm here to post a question on this same shower, saw this one since I'll be in there again.
New post coming in a moment about why cold water will not run when hot has been on.

you should have a tapered spring with the larger end towards the inside of the valve with the rubber seat on the small side, facing toward the handle. You should only have one spring per seat.

there are two types of springs
straight (older faucets) and tapered - they are NOT interchangeable
-----------------------------------
either way: each 'port' takes 1 spring and 1 cup washer
spring in first
then
cup of washer goes OVER the spring end and 'seats'

The rubber seats for the two types of valves are also NOT interchangeable. I cannot imagine HOW you could assemble the seats and springs in an incorrect way and still get the valve reassembled.
