compression shut-off to threaded sink faucet.
Author: JAYBOD (KS)

I have a 1/2' copper line stubbed thru the floor, into the bathroom basin cabinet. I attached a 1/2 - 3/8 compression shut-off . I then discovered that the wife had purchased threaded faucets. The question is, how to transition from the compression 3/8 to the threaded connection. As the cabinet has very little room to work in, I'm tying to avoid replacing the shut-off, as it was a real tough one to get in place, and tight enough to prevent leakage.

You use 1/2" x 3/8" supply lines. The supply line will have a female adapter on each end.

 Thanks. I appreciate the information!

I appreciate the information! I was not sure if the female 3/8" end would adapt to the compression fitting, but it makes sense. I may just have been complicating things!!!
