 Question about PVC connection
Author: HarveyHomeowner (NJ)

I installed new cabinets in the kitchen and had to cut the PVC drain pipe that ran vertically through the floor and up through the bottom of the old cabinet. When I installed the new cabinet I managed to cut the hole in the bottom to line-up with the stub of the PVC drain pipe coming up through the floor, but when I tried to glue a connector to the PVC pipe I could not get it on all of the way. It's about 2/3 of the way on. Is that going to be OK?

Thanks. My worry is that if it leaks it will do a lot of damage before I know it.
