this top of this pipe broke off. it had been capped off once a patio replaced a lawn. not sure how it broke but guessing a kid rode a scooter into it.
it broke off a few inches below the patio, with no real room to work with. is there some compound i can fill it with to seal it off? some kind om cement or epoxy? the picture is a view looking down into the hole.

I am guessing at the size of the pipe, but if it is 2" or larger, some plumbing supply stores have Top-Kap plug/adapter that glues into the pipe with a removable plug.

Should have included that I don't anticipate ever needing this pipe again.

hard to tell from the pic but do you have some pipe left above the bottom of that thing or did it break right there?

it broke right there. clarification - it is 1/2 pipe. i've tried different approaches, but what i keep running into is that this is " older" pipe with thinner walls, so none of the fitting i have found (plugs, extenders, etc) will fit in there. really still looking for an idea of something i can fill into the pipe and that will give it a permanent seal.
