I am remodeling the master bath. While getting ready for a pressure test for the new drains and vents, I keep getting drips from the was ring of a toilet that isn't part of the remodel but is affected by the pressure test. I have reset the toilet twice, now I am wondering if I need to pull the toilet and plug the hole...Or is there some other way I can accomplish a leak free was ring...help plz.

There is absolutely NO WAY you can pressure test a system if the toilet is attached to the portion under test. But, you should NOT be testing the toilet if it is not part of the new system.

I always install a cleanout tee in the drainage system for a test ball so that I can isolate the new piping for pressure testing.

That would be the "normal" way to do it.

Of couurse you need to pull the toilet and plug the hole. while you are really going to remodel your master bath you should be aware about the new drains and vents though this may not actual part of this. Or you will be again suffering from this drips water that is really uncomfortable, so keep doing properly or you can get help from any wc ontstoppen service.
