 identify my 1969 mystery toilet!
Author: JDinPA (PA)

Triangle tank, no name, has number stamp 2209 something something. Lid stamped 2892 then some weird symbol I cannot make out.
Base marked Eljer, I would say by the bowl shape, it may be a "Trigeian"
I want to replace the innards of the tank while I have it apart, but with the odd offset overflow thing molded into the side of the tank, dunno if I can. See the pics in my photobucket album. Click pics to enlarge.

it is an Eljer "Triangle". You can purchase a new "flush assembly" for it, and the fill valve is common and any fill valve will work in it.

very interesting toilet.

does the drain rough in for this toilet measures from the "apex" of the triangle?

12" from the two sides of the triangle. To the apex it would be 12 times the square root of two, or about 17".
