After inspecting the laundry sink tie in through a main co someone used too much abs glue and it left a big glob on the bottom of the pipe so I used some pvc primer and some sand paper and removed it. Is it save to use this pvc primer again.

I did not glue the joint and I just used it to soften the extra glue on the bottom of the pipe and was just wondering if the primer was still good to use.

Do you mean you put it back into the can? How else could you "reuse" primer?

I am lost, how would you be able to get back the used primer?
Did you use a sponge to soak up a puddle of primer and squeeze them back into the can?

He's an apprentice, so I guess he has a lot of time on his hands, (he had already delivered a bucket of steam, and found the metric Crescent wrench), so he could do it.

The applicator had softened abs glue on it and got put back in the can of pvc prmer.
