Hello Friends,
I want to replace my existing Axor starck shower head [www.dropbox.com] with the Kohler shower head [www.dropbox.com]
Unfortunately, the width of the shower arm is too big for the Kohler shower head. Could you please help me find some sort of an adapter I could use to replace the shower head.
Thank you

you will have to unscrew the ENTIRE old assembly
install a standard 1/2 shower arm then the Kohler head

it looks like your existing showewr arm will unscrew from the wall and you can use a standard 1/2" shower arm and flange to replace what you have. the kohler head will screw right onto the new arm.

Look for a set screw someplace around the wall flange that will release it from an adaptor. It appears from the specs as though the back end may have an O ring rather than threads. ??

Thank you m & m,
I attempted to remove the tub spout which appears to be the same [www.dropbox.com] and it came of by unscrewing.
Do they look different to you? I am looking for some kind of screw mechanism to get the shower arm off but cannot find anything and as I mentioned earlier it just keeps rotating.
Please help.
Thank you

Tub spout specs seem to mirror the shower arm specs so it should simply unscrew. Any chance that you have broken the earred ell fitting from the riser pipe in the wall and that is what is rotating?

If it is rotating it is coming out, IF you are rotating the right part.

There is only 1 part to rotate, I do see a tiny hole under the shower head but doesn't look like a screw, do you think that has something to do with unscrewing it ?
I am really sick of this shower head and need to replace, I have another shower head ready.
Since the original thread was about installing the shower head, I will start a new 1 to uninstall the old 1 first.
Thank you
