So I replaced the outdoor faucet with a threaded 3/4 adapter into a 1/2 female. Got a new sill cock from menards and thought my split sill cock was history. Well got it all finally installed and turned the water on and the pressure is horrible. After reading all these posts, the only thing I can think of is that after sweating the adapter to the mainline for a while that some of the copper melted and blocked the line partially? What else could it be besides a faulty sill cock. The pressure everywhere else is normal, other sill cocks also. WHAT COULD IT BE

One thing it CANNOT be is "melted copper blocking the line". We do not know how you attached the new valve, or what you did at the time, so we cannot tell you what, if anything, you did wrong.
