Hello!
I have recently replaced my Sloane Quiet Flush II manual flushometer with a Zurn automatic flushometer model ZTR6200EV 1.28GPF. The control stop was not replaced. With the old flushometer I always had to hold the handle down for at least 5 seconds before the bowl would completely flush. Now, I have the same problem with the new flushometer which renders the "automatic" portion of this situation void as I have to hold down the manual override button in order to properly flush the toilet. The control stop has been opened all the way so I'm at a loss for what the issue may be. Any advice would be useful.
Thank you

On second thought..I'm not sure. How can you tell? I initially thought you were asking if it were a bowl or urinal.

Me thinks you have a 3.5 gallon per flush (gpf) toilet and you have replaced it with a 1.5 GPF or 1.28 GPF flushometer. Granted, you have lowered the flow rate with a foreign replacement. You could have replace the Sloan Flush with an A-36 A Flush Kit and resolved most of your issues. Someone saw ya coming and Sold you a brand new Flushometer for a new water saver toilet.
I'd take it back and just buy a flush kit.
Best Wishes

If it is a 1.6 or 1.28 gpf bowl it will be marked as such on the bowl behind the seat. If it has neither, then you probably need a 3.5 gpf flush valve.
