I have one of these in my master bath:
[search.us.kohler.com]
And I've noticed that over the past couple of months the hot water is not getting very hot anymore. The tub and sink temperatures appear to be fine.
Does anyone have any ideas on what the issue could be? Is it something in the shower/tower itself?

There are more than one problem which could give that symptom, and only someone who was there and tested the valve for all posibilities can give you an answer.

actually Pete, Lemon is referring to the "Optional Temp Limiting" adjustment AFTER installation guide #13.
Make sure you have a thermometer handy.
If that doesn't do it, you have other issues, and it's time to call the Professional Certified Plumber.

thanks for the info... I'll try the "Optional Temp Limiting" first and see if that helps. Is it common for that to change over time?

It may be more a case of the .hot side temp change. As HJ suggested.See many failures at heating season end.but would check the actual hot side temp.

I tried step #13 but no luck... Someone mentioned that it might be the mixing valves so going to look into that.
