 disposer installation
Author: Anonymous User

I am going to be installing a disposer in our kitchen with a double sink. I know that the DW drain line can connect to the disposer. How do I plumb the horizontal arm from the second bowl. Do I connect that arm between the disposer outlet and trap? With what type of fitting?

Thanks in advance.

I normally turn the disposal 90 down into the trap. On the way down to the trap a tee is installed to catch the other bowl. I do not like to use the tee's with the baffle with a diposal dumping into it, but it is done all the time. GOOD LUCK
