I recently purchased a Kohler Aquifer 4 in 1 beverage system. You should be able to get regular water, cold water, hot water, and sparkling water via a user interface.
At installation, we experienced error E08 with the cold water. The range is supposed to be 5-15 degrees Centigrade or 41 to 59 degrees Farenheit. It stops at 20 degrees C or 68 degrees F and gives me error 08.
We called Kohler and they sent a new unit saying they couldn't do anything to correct.
We had a plumber deinstall the first unit and install the new unit and lo and behold, we are getting the exact same experience/error. It doesn't seem random as it stops at 20 degrees.
I have a call into their tech folks tomorrow but wanted to post here to see if there's any insight/ideas from you. Help is appreciated!
