I am wanting to replace a old open sump pump pit with a new ejector pump system for a down stairs basement bathroom and want to no if the new tank will need holes drilled in it , I have read that you need to put holes in to keep it from being pushed back out of hole when water table rises , just seams that brown water would leach under tank any one ever needed to drill tank thanks got a price from a local plumber wanted 4500 just to put tank in no other pluming just tank

You don't want to drill any holes in an ejector pit.

You need to keep the old sump pump and pit for groundwater. There should be no connection between the the two pits.

I don't understand the reason of having two tanks they are all going to the outside septic, was hoping to just put new bigger tank in and change out pump for sewage.

Does the existing sump pump discharge sewage or just ground water? You shouldn't pump ground water into septic tank.
