Our 20 year old Hamat Everest kitchen faucet is starting to leak under the handle from time to time.
So I'm thinking of replacing the faucet. I'm not sure it pays to try to fix it.
So I saw a Kohler Haku semi professional faucet in Costco for $150.
Is this a good faucet? Does Costco carry cheaply made faucets like Lowes and Home Depot do?
Can anybody recommend other good faucets to look for if you don't think the Kohler from Costco is a good choice?
I'm looking for a high arc faucet with lots of clearance for tall pots, and something that will be trouble free for many years.
And that be easily repaired if something does go wrong.

Big, well known brands know they will always have customers buying their faucets, no matter what. All people know is Moen, Kohler and Delta. Those brands are switching to plastic and PEX to cut corners and that's where the quality is going to crap. Try finding smaller, specialized brands that offer lead free brass material, high quality ceramic cartridges, braided lines and as.mich metal as possible. I've been recommending Mirozza brand to my clients and so far each one is happy with their products. They don't cost a fortune, they don't leak after 3 months as Kohler, Moen Delta like to do lately. Also, Costco is not selling any quality Kohler products. Costco's quality is even worse than Home Depot quality of faucets. True, Costco might have free replacements but who wants to replace a faucet every 3 months? I already did my research and I'm glad I did. For the price of~$250 for a great quality faucet, Mirozza can't be beat.
