Any Alternative To Lenox Plumbers Bread?
Author: george 7941 (Canada)

This stuff has been very useful but I have run out of it and Lenox does not make it any more. Most frequently used for soldering in supply stops.

I prefer the Lenox Bread to JetSwet or compression stops. Actual white bread is not always around when needed. The Lenox stuff can be kept in my toolbox indefinitely.

Any alternatives?

Alternatives to Lenox Plumber's Bread include JetSwet, which performs the same water-blocking function, or compression washers, but these require more effort to install. You can also use plastic wrap to temporarily block water or silicone seals to seal the joint. JetSwet is the closest alternative to Lenox Bread.
