Is there a way to add two, separate 5/8" flexible drain hoses to the tailpiece for draining purposes (obviously)? I need to have one drain line 5/8" to connect to the drain pan for the heat pump water heater, and a separate 5/8" flexible drain hose to drain from the water softener. Both are located in the garage. I do not have a floor drain, but have a working utility sink that I can drain into. I know there are tailpieces with a branch which I can use for the heat pump water heater (which I already setup), but I still need a separate one for the water softener. Or, maybe there's another option to use?
And, yes, a permit was pulled (by me), so there will be an inspection (to see if I did it to code).
Thank you for any suggestions you may have.

Packy, that fitting is 1 1/2" BSP. I saw that fitting earlier and checked the difference to NPT. BSP OD is .018 smaller and is 11 TPI vs 11.5 TPI. I don't know if that will make enough of a difference to mate up with NPS(NPT).

Hi y'all,
Thank you all for the great suggestions and feedback! I decided to get the Vista Water Group's Drain Dock device. I ordered the Drain Gap model because, after reviewing the manufacturer's installation instructions for the water softener, I need to have a 1-1/2" gap to prevent potential sewage backup. So, this model will do the job! Should arrive in a few days.
Great to have the PLBG forum to come to for advice and help!
Thanks, again!
