RIDGID "KWIK SPIN" Snake (25' long)
Author: dchercls75 (FL) Can you tell me where the snake attaches, inside the crank drum? When I pulled the snake out of the drain, the end came out of the drum. I opened up the drum. But, I don't see where the snake was attached. Any ideas?

Author: hj (AZ) It probably doesn't most small snakes j'ust stay in place by friction, with the ossibity that when you reach the end, it will drop out and be lost. Edited 1 times.

Author: george 7941 (Canada) On the ridgid site, it says THE CABLE IS POSITIVELY RETAINED IN THE DRUM TO PREVENT CABLE PULLOUT. It does not say how anywhere on the site. On my small Ridgid AutoClean machine with a 1/4 inch cable, the inside back of the plastic drum has a clip molded into the plastic and the end of the cable snaps into the clip and is retained securely. Edited 1 times.
