I want to remove a 30 year old Delta 2-valve sink faucet. I’m unable to remove the nut under the sink that holds the valve to the sink. See photo for current state of removal. Above the sink, I’m unable to remove the thin flange as I have nothing to grip it. Below the sink, the nut holding the faucet is not accessible due to the close quarters. The valve has a large nut-like piece that I can access with my adjustable wrench. I’ve tried turning it CCW, but it won’t budge. Is this the way to remove the valve? If so, maybe my daughter’s boyfriend could try. If not, how do I remove these valves? Appreciate any help. Bob

Have you tried a basin wrench on the underside nut? The head swivels 90* from the shaft, so it's good for close quarters. You could also cut a slit in the nut with an oscillating tool or drill a hole through the nut, to allow the nut to be split open a little bit.

Looks like it might be Delta mini-widespread. Pain to remove.
Cut the nut/retainer with a Dremel tool with abrasive blade.
Looks like top mount sink.....Remove the sink and then the faucet.

do you have a hex wrench set like the one in the picture below?
Not sure whether it has the right size, but I have two sets that seems to fit many of the faucet nuts.
you will need to use one to remove the coupling nut at the bottom first, and once that is out of the way, you can try to reach the one right under the sink. It doesn't have to be a perfect fit, if it fits 95% and can wedge tight you can try to loosen it.
