I am adding septic tank risers to my concrete septic tank.
We bought the Tuf-Tite ones.
The plastic lids state you can add up to 70 lbs of concrete to the bottom of the lid.
This is for their flat riser lids. Anyone tried this? I just cant see the plastic lid holding concrete from the bottom.
This is on a rental property. So I do like the idea of it being harder to remove the lid. Even with the screws to mount the lid.
Any suggestions
Thanks

Are you referring to the yellow safety lid or the green flat lid?

I installed risers a couple of years ago. Both are buried under an inch of dirt. Neither have ever been disturbed, except when I wipe the dirt off the output tank lid to inspect the output filter once a year.
