I have a Toto toilet that's leaking at the base of the tank when flushed. Not from the two tank bolts but from the middle. I believe the tank to bowl gasket is leaking.
I am not sure the exact Toto model, but I believe it is a Toto Drake toilet.
So I removed all the guts inside the tank - the fill and flush valve will be replaced at the same time so will the supply hose.
After removing the tank the gasket looks like a crush piece of styrofoam.
I removed the gasket and the bowl hole is about 2-3/4" in diameter.
Is there anything special with the OEM Toto gasket or can I just use say a FluidMaster or Korky universal gasket?

Universalgasket will work just fine, all you have to do is check the fit. The fit to the tank and the fit to the bowl.
