Exterior Exhaust/Intake
Author: GkColo (CO) I have a high efficiency furnace and a power vent water heater next to each other. What would be the appropriate comfiguration for the intake and exhaust of each. They will both have to be elevated due to the closeness to the ground. Some advice would be much appreciated, thanks!!! Edited 1 times.

Author: bsipps (PA) Exhaust must be minimum 4’ from an opening like door or window Fresh air inlets will go vertical then a u bend to prevent water from entering the intake Exhaust is usually 90 up and 90 horizontally away from the intake and dwelling

Author: packy (MA) best to read and follow manufactures installation guide. the gas inspector will approve what the manufacturer tells them. this way the responsibility falls on the shoulders of the manufacturer. any problems or any law suits and the buck stops there
