 shower arm with ball
Author: Ms.Nina (Canada)

I have a old shower arm with ball at the end. The shower head has a nylon thread. So far, I have not located an adapter which can actually screw into the nut which remains on the arm. They barely screw in 1 rotation.
Replacing the arm is the last option as it appears to be soldered into the pipe, not just threaded.
Any suggestions on the make of this head and where to find a proper adapter?
Thank you

There are some stores online that sell an adapter that screws onto your old price pfister shower arm ball end that can convert that unique end to a standard 1/2" threaded pipe end.

Just do a search on "adapter for Old Style Price Pfister Showerhead and Arm"

Hi
I have tried a few adapters that were purchased online. They seem to screw into the nut for less than one turn as the threads do not match.
Thank you.
