Pressure is Weak After Watermain Break Repair

So, the water pressure in my house was fine, and then the county shut it down to fix a watermain break a couple of doors down the road. When they were done, the pressure did not return to what it was. Before, two people could take a shower at the same time. Now, if any other fixture is running, the pressure will be very poor. So, for example, we flush a toilet, and then turn on a sink to wash hands; the sink flow will be very limp until the toilet fills up. Any ideas what is going on?

Author: steve (CA) Do you have a pressure regulator or filter on your water supply pipe? Sounds like debris is plugging a filter/strainer.
